About & contact
Isn’t it great when a hobby gets out of hand, completely?
“What started out as taking pictures for fun, during a very boring Public Administration Masters study, turned into scuba-diving with sharks, having snowboarders miss me by inches (sometimes not), standing between 30.000 raving people or climbing active volcanoes while seeing the furthermost corners of the earth. The choice of doing what I loved instead of what I learned was the best decision I ever made! This is living life to the fullest”
My company, Fotograferen.net started in 1996 (then called Rud-gr.com) after finishing a masters degree in Public Administration at the Rotterdam Erasmus University. In the years since, I’ve developed into a photographer and writer active in various fields like (dance)music, extreme sports, scubadiving, events and for a large part travel photography and journalism. You can find all these fields on this website, just browse the categories or tags.

Beste Rutger,
Olaf
Olaf mail me even op info at fotograferen punt net, is niet zo erg ingewikkeld hoor!
Hi Rudgr!
I’m hoping you can help me. I recently found a photo of an amazing galactic dance (with your watermark in the corner).
Thousands of people dressed in white. A circle of huge loudspeakers. A massive 3D flower of life hanging overhead.
In all an astonishing scene and inage. Everyone to whom I forward the photo is super-impressed and super-curious.
We all want to know: Where was it? When? Who organized? Are there more photos? Does video exist? Thanks for
any info! Love and Blessings! Jay
Hi Jay,
It’s an event called Sensation, check it out at http://www.sensation.com
